Updates on the 2018 Chrysler 300 Redesign
Cars in Trend tells us that Chrysler has no plans to make sweeping changes to the 300 for 2018. That’s good news for fans of the full-sized sedan because it means that drivers will still have access to the most popular features, including a powerful 363-hp 5.7 HEMI engine and the fuel-efficient 3.6L Pentastar V6 that delivered as much as 30 mpg/highway fuel efficiency in recent EPA testing.
Chrysler will also likely continue to offer the popular Uconnect system with an 8.4-inch color touchscreen interface and access to conveniences like navigation, voice command, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth hands-free calling and more. The automaker has announced no plans to replace the available BeatsAudio premium sound system or the convenient media hub that allows drivers to connect an iPod or smartphone for easy music streaming on the go. Other features like ParkSense front and rear park assist and adaptive cruise control, full-speed forward collision braking, and rear cross-path detection will also remain in place.
While there is no definitive release date yet for the 2018 model, it is believed that Chrysler will hold out until early next year before making these sedans available to the public.
